Michelle leads CG’s Commercial Litigation team with over 13 years of experience advising on complex and challenging commercial disputes having previously worked at an international and a national firm.

Her vast experience includes advising on effective termination and renegotiation of contracts, payment and ownership issues, shareholder disputes, partnership disputes warranty claims, director’s duties, misrepresentation, professional negligence.

Michelle also specialises in business protection and reputation management - post termination covenants, confidentiality issues, defamation, and intellectual property disputes.

She has a breadth of experience advising on all manner of commercial disputes cutting across a range of sectors, including manufacturing, energy, transport and logistics, construction, and health and beauty.

Michelle puts strategy first and is known for her commerciality and outcome focussed approach, acting for owner managed business/SMEs, charities, local authorities and schools, colleges and universities,  limited companies,  and PLCs, alike.

With her experience, Michelle is able to guide clients not just through the Court process (having acted on claims from the County Court to the Supreme Court) and urgent injunctive relief but on strategic settlements through alternative means.
