Jade studied law and graduated from Sheffield Hallam University in 2019. During her time at university, Jade was actively involved in the university Law Clinic where she enjoyed advising clients on a wide variety of matters. Following on from her law degree, Jade then completed the Legal Practice Course with a Masters in Legal Practice at BPP University. Whilst studying for her LPC, Jade also acted on a pro-bono basis as a Student Adviser in the general commercial team providing pragmatic, commercially robust advice to clients.
Before starting the LPC, Jade worked at national law firm Keoghs LLP as a Cost Negotiator where she managed her own caseload on a range of contentious matters and negotiated costs with opponent solicitors guided by pragmatism.
Jade joined CG in October 2021 as a paralegal within the Real Estate team. Jade is a key member of the Real Estate team and provides support and assistance on a variety of commercial transactions. Her roles include obtaining property searches and reviewing the results, drafting reports on title, drafting transfer deeds, dealing with landlord and tenant matters and dealing with post-completion matters such as submission of SDLT and registration of documents at HM Land Registry.
Jade has more recently enrolled on the Professional Development course at BPP University where she will develop her professional and commercial skills alongside her employment.
Outside of work, Jade is a big music fan and enjoys attending music concerts and festivals. Jade also enjoys the great outdoors and is a keen walker and camper.
