Our current advice on dealing with the risk of coronavirus to employees:
1) Employees who have been to any of the “lockdown areas” in the last 14 days to self-quarantine and call NHS 111.
2) Employees who have been to any of the “risk areas” in the last 14 days and are showing symptoms to self-quarantine and call NHS 111.

3) If employee’s cant work at home, they should be paid sick pay for the self-quarantine period.
4) If employees resist self quarantine then the employer should consider medical suspension with a view to recouping the difference of full pay for medical suspension and sick pay (if any). Please contact us for guidance/advice.
